On the return journey from Russia,
Tessa and I worked our way down
from north Norway, via the lakes,
islands, fjords and glacier mountains
to Bergen.
All roads are minor with a max speed
of 90 kph.
Frequent ferries are required to make
any progress, but the scenery is
breathtaking.
We finished in Bergen, the wettest city
in Europe by attending a live Rolling
Stones concert just a 5 minute walk
from our hotel.
Next day we re-joined the group we
had travelled through Russia with for a
26 hour ferry crossing to Newcastle
(and a bit of a party) - and home...
